Peter Talbot (March 30, 1854 – December 6, 1919) was a Canadian parliamentarian.
Born in Eramosa, Canada West (now Ontario), he moved to Fort Macleod, Alberta, in 1890 to teach school. In 1892, he moved to Lacombe, Alberta, to homestead and raise cattle.
In 1902 he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Northwest Territories and served until 1904. In 1904, he was elected to the Canadian House of Commons for the riding of Strathcona as a Liberal. In 1906, he was appointed to the Senate representing the senatorial division of Alberta. He died in office in 1919.
